In July of 2006, the Home of Ragamews Ragdolls was voluntarily

inspected and approved by a Veterinarian. Our home was certified as a

healthy and safe environment with all cats examined and in good health.

We can be found in West Yorkshire, England, where we live happily with our small family of Ragdolls whom we breed ocassionally as an enjoyable and rewarding hobby. We have been "owned" by ragdolls since 1992 when we aquired our first pet, followed the next year by a second pet, and the following year by yet another who was to become our "special" girl, our first venture into breeding. The rest as they say is history!

We breed mitted and colourpoint Ragdolls, ocassionally bi-colours in traditional seal and blue, with the mitted being my favourite pattern. Our Ragdolls are from Traditional Old English lines.

Stories have been told stating that the Ragdoll does not feel pain. This was shown to be a complete myth when, under veterinary examination, it was proven once and for all, that the Ragdoll has the same physical and mental attributes as any other breed of cat. What is true about the Ragdoll is that they are exceptionally calm, affectionate, and companionable. They're more of a friend than a pet!

Shown on this site are photos of cats we have bred over the years. Some no longer live with us and have moved on to enjoy their lives happily in new homes.

**NOTICE**

Whilst cats have always been considered "streetwise" they are not truly safe outside.

This is especially so of Ragdolls, as they are so laid back and trusting they have no concept of danger. For fresh air and exercise purposes, they can be given access to a walled and secure garden, but only under your direct supervision. I devote a great deal of time, effort, and love to my kittens and their safety and welfare is of top priority to me. I have made the commitment to keep them safe and, in return, expect the same commitment from their new owners.

Cats are meant to be treated as the loving and precious companions they are. They should be cherished and loved enough by their new mums/dads to be kept

"SAFE INDOORS!"

We approve of and place our kittens or Cats in

"STRICTLY INDOOR HOMES ONLY"!
